Money-Back Policy

This Money-Back Policy applies to tuition listed on energy-wave.digital in JPY. It supplements statutory rights available to consumers in Japan, including rights under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions where applicable.

For eligible distance contracts, you may cancel within the period required by law, typically eight days from the day after contract conclusion for certain solicitations, and longer cooling-off may apply for specific door-to-door or telemarketing cases. Where the Consumer Contract Act grants a broader right of rescission, that period prevails. Separately, we offer a good-faith 14-day refund window from the purchase date for standard online enrollments if you have not accessed more than 20% of paid materials—whichever is more favorable to you under applicable law applies.

After the statutory or 14-day window, refunds are generally not available except where required by law, where we cancel a cohort, or where we agree in writing to a transfer to another cohort.

If you accessed substantial materials beyond the threshold noted above, any refund may be reduced to reflect value received, unless a stronger mandatory rule applies.

Third-party exam vouchers, books shipped to you, or custom corporate workshops invoiced separately are non-refundable once delivered or scheduled, except as required by law.

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank fees charged by intermediaries are outside our control.

If we cancel a cohort, you may choose a full refund or a transfer. We are not liable for incidental costs (travel, software purchases) except where mandatory law says otherwise.
